Jan. 2005 Unrestricted The Crawford County Literacy Council’s READ Program works to increase adult and family literacy. A grant helped them purchase two computers and a printer. Program staff use the equipment to prepare, implement and monitor education plans. $1,000
Jan. 2005 Unrestricted The French Creek Valley Railroad Historical Society used a grant to assist in the acquisition of an Erie-Lackawanna Railroad caboose for an exhibit in Meadville. $450

Jan. 2005 Lintner The Oil Creek Railway Historical Society used a grant to create an exhibit in an historic caboose in Titusville. $1,000
Jan. 2005 Lintner A grant to the Titusville Area School District defrayed part of the cost for a senior-class field trip to Pittsburgh. The students studied the Titanic exhibit at the Carnegie Science Center and saw a production of Shakespeare’s “The Tempest.” They subsequently used the experience to prepare lessons for future classes. $500
Jan. 2005 Lintner With a grant, the Titusville Lions Club improved the security of the Scheide Park Gazebo through the purchase of a surveillance camera to assist in deterring vandalism. $1,000
Jan. 2005 Lintner The Titusville Summer Theater received a grant for $500 to help subsidize the cost to produce “The Music Man,” keeping ticket costs affordable to the community. $500
July 2005 Unrestricted Women’s Services’ domestic violence shelter serves women and children escaping abusive situations. Program supplies purchased helped to aid in their recovery. $530
July 2005 Lintner A grant to Associated Charities of Titusville was used towards improvements to their building. The renovations helped them to more effectively accomplish their mission. $2,000
July 2005 Lintner The “IMPACT Adult Mentoring Program” of the YWCA of Titusville was given a grant towards providing mentors to assist people with mental health concerns between visits to a counselor $575
July 2005 Unrestricted Crawford County Safe Kids’ “Cribs for Kids” campaign received a grant to help provide cribs and educational materials to low-income families to reduce the risk of SIDS and accidental suffocation. $500
July 2005 Unrestricted The “NeighborKids Academy,” a summer day program  for children sponsored by UCIP, received a grant. Through music, art and cultural activities, participants improved their educational development and self-esteem. $500
July 2005 Unrestricted For the enjoyment and safety of children in their program, the YWCA Twin Creeks Head Start improved an outdoor play space with grant assistance. $1,000
July 2005 Lintner The YMCA of Titusville received a grant for “Kinder Art Gym and Swim.” This pre-school program provided a variety of activities for children ages 3-5 to prepare them for kindergarten. $1,000
July 2005 Unrestricted With their grant, the YMCA of Meadville purchased computers for their “Youth and Teen Center” to enhance a youth tutoring program. $1,000
July 2005 Lintner The Hydetown Volunteer Fire Department received a grant towards purchase of computer software and hardware. The new system is used to meet County, State and Federal information and record-keeping requirements. $1,000
July 2005 Unrestricted The Titusville Council on the Arts presented a diverse mix of musical art forms to the community as part of their “Summer Concert Series” with the assistance of a grant. $1,000
July 2005 Unrestricted/Franklin Cochranton Area Greenways, Inc. used their grant towards creation of a two-mile walking/biking trail around the borough of Cochranton. $450
