Grants from our Unrestricted Fund support important projects that make a difference in many lives. The endowed funds we manage provide a permanent source of financial support for numerous non-profit organizations. Awards from our scholarship programs help to make college more affordable for many local students. Of course, none of this would be possible without the support of countless generous people in the community. People from a variety of backgrounds have used the Foundation to help meet their charitable goals. Whether they have given $10 or $10,000, they share the common desire to make a positive impact in our community.

Christian Maher has served as Executive Director of the Crawford Heritage Community Foundation since July 2004. He worked as a consultant to the foundation for the prior two years. Before entering philanthropy, he worked as an account manager for a marketing communications firm in Elmira, NY. He has a bachelor’s degree from Ithaca College, Roy H. Park School of Communications.
