2018 Medical and Nursing Scholarships Available

The Crawford Heritage Community Foundation announces the availability of applications for its nursing and medical scholarships. The application deadline is April 15. Eligibility criteria and on-line applications forms are available at https://www.crawfordheritage.org/scholarship/.

The M. Lucille Runkel Nursing Scholarship is available to a resident of Crawford County or
Mercer County who wishes to become a Registered Nurse and is enrolled in an accredited
program leading to a degree in nursing.

Two scholarships, the Thomas M. Watson Memorial Scholarship and Meadville Medical Center
Medical Staff Scholarship, are available to graduate students pursuing a degree of doctor at an
accredited school of medicine, osteopathy, dentistry or podiatry. Applicants must demonstrate
permanent residency in Crawford County, exclusive of student residency for a period of five
years immediately preceding the date of application.

The Crawford Heritage Community Foundation is dedicated to making Crawford County a better place to live, learn, work and raise a family. The Foundation helps people make the most of their philanthropy by giving to endowed funds. Grant awards are made from these funds to support the causes donors care about as well as worthwhile programs selected by the Foundation. The Foundation manages more than 100 funds, which benefit more than 100 different organizations, scholarships and charitable purposes.
