PATH Program

The Crawford Heritage Community Foundation is a partner in Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency's (PHEAA) Partnerships for Access to Higher Education (PATH) Program. Through the PATH Program, PHEAA potentially provides a dollar-for-dollar match of scholarships awarded by the Foundation. To be eligible, students must:

  • receive a scholarship from the Crawford Heritage Community Foundation (or other
    PATH partner agency)

  • complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form

  • be enrolled in a Pennsylvania college

  • be a state grant recipient

  • have additional unmet financial need

Please note that the PATH Program is NOT a scholarship program. It is a scholarship matching program. We cannot recommend a student for a PATH match unless we have awarded them a scholarship first.

The majority of the Crawford Heritage Community Foundation’s scholarships are available ONLY to eligible students residing within Crawford County, Pennsylvania. If you live outside of Crawford County, contact the PATH Program directly for the contact information for a PATH partner in your area.
