David and Janet Miller of Meadville have established a permanent endowment with the Crawford Heritage Community Foundation. The David and Janet Miller Scholarship Fund will benefit the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. The school will use the money to award scholarships to their students to make the cost of their education more affordable.
“After a successful career running a funeral home, David Miller owes a debt of gratitude to the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science for giving him the training and education he needed to launch his career. We are glad to help him give back and pay forward to encourage the next generation of funeral directors,” says Christian Maher, executive director of the foundation.[/fusion_text]
