About Our Scholarship Program
We administer over forty scholarship funds.
Each scholarship has different eligibility requirements and selection criteria.

Applying for a Scholarship
With just one application, students are considered for all scholarships for which they are eligible.
Who can apply for a scholarship?
- Graduating High School Seniors (students must be Crawford County Residents, except as noted)
- Cambridge Springs High School
- Cochranton Senior High School
- Conneaut Area Senior High School
- Crawford Christian Academy
- Maplewood High School
- Meadville Area High School
- Saegertown High School
- Titusville High School (including residents of Venango and Forest County)
- Jamestown High School (Crawford County residents only)
- Cyber School, Homeschool or Charter School
- Students meeting other specific criteria
- Dover High School, New Philadelphia High School, St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School (Ohio)
- Current college Juniors or Seniors studying political science
- Dependents or children of Greenleaf Corporation employees
- Medical, Dental, Osteopathic or Podiatric Doctoral Students
- Theological School, Divinity School or Seminary Master’s or Doctoral Students
- Students from Mercer County that wish to study nursing
About the Application Process
Complete the online application form if you meet any of the criteria above. Applications will be accepted through 5:00 PM on MARCH 15. All supporting documents can be uploaded in the scholarship application system. If you are unable to upload the documents they may be emailed to philanthropic@crawfordheritage.org by March 15. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
School Transcripts
The Community Foundation will request an official high school transcript, including courses taken, rank in class (if applicable) and ACT and/or SAT® scores (optional).
All other students (current college students, medical school students) should have an official transcript sent to the foundation, preferably electronically, to philanthropic@crawfordheritage.org.
Entrance Examinations (Optional)
Submit with your application a copy of your ACT and/or SAT® score notification from The College Board if your scores are not listed on your secondary school transcript.
Financial Aid For Student Aid (FAFSA)
Submit with your application a copy of your FAFSA Submission Summary with the SAI amount (student aid index). You must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form (https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa) to receive your FAFSA Submission Summary and SAI. This form can be completed as soon as January 1st of the year you plan to attend college.
Notification
Scholarship recipients are notified of their awards in early May. Students not selected to receive scholarships will not be notified due to the volume of applications received.

Tool and Die, Machining and Manufacturing
In partnership with the NTMA Education Foundation, we also fund many scholarships for students seeking a certificate or degree in fields that advance the manufacturing industry, such as machining and CNC programming, mechanical, electrical, technical and/or precision engineering, industrial maintenance, and robotics. These scholarships include the Ronald J. Cummings/Canto Tool Scholarship, Kenneth and Margaret Deane Scholarship, Gary M. Slezak Memorial Scholarship and the Cecil Stevenson Memorial Scholarship.
