Scholarships for Titusville HS Students Available – Applications Due April 15

Scholarship Applications Available

The Crawford Heritage Community Foundation announces the availability of applications for its scholarship programs. The application deadline is April 15. Eligibility criteria and on-line applications forms are available at https://www.crawfordheritage.org/titusville-scholarship/.

The Ross R. and Shirley A. Casella Scholarship is presented annually to a student who has graduated or is about to graduate from Titusville Area School District (Titusville, Pennsylvania), Dover/New Philadelphia (Ohio) High School, or St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School, (New Philadelphia, Ohio) and will be matriculating or enrolling in an accredited four-year college. The scholarship is granted with the expectation that it may be renewed each year for a total of four awards. The approximate award amount is $20,000 per year.

The Associated Charities of Titusville Scholarship is presented annually to a student who has graduated or is about to graduate from Titusville Area School District or Maplewood High School and will be matriculating or enrolling in an accredited two- or four-year college and who will be pursuing a degree in social work or a related field. The approximate award amount is $900 per year.

The Harry Brown Scholarship, Clara H. and Robert M. Davidson Scholarship, Friend and Bernice Kerr Scholarship, Elias W. and Mae Hasbrouck Hummer Memorial Scholarship, Sharp and Mary Proper Scholarship, Mark Jeffrey Sampson Memorial Scholarship, and Melanie Ann Snyder Scholarship are presented annually to students who are about to graduate from Titusville High School and will be matriculating or enrolling in an accredited two- or four-year college in a program leading to an associate’s or bachelor’s degree. Award amounts generally range from $100 to $3,000.

The Crawford Heritage Community Foundation is dedicated to making Crawford County a better place to live, learn, work and raise a family. The Foundation helps people make the most of their philanthropy by giving to endowed funds. Grant awards are made from these funds to support the causes donors care about as well as worthwhile programs selected by the Foundation. The Foundation manages more than 100 funds, which benefit more than 100 different organizations, scholarships and charitable purposes.
